I have had this refrigerator for a couple months now and overall I am very happy with it. The shelves are sturdy and the interior space is bright and well designed in the refrigerator. I prefer the bottom freezer model because of increased energy efficiency and it offers ample storage space too. There are only three small complaints I would offer about this model, and none would stop me from purchasing it again. It would be nice to have another shelf on the freezer door. There is one small one but two would be really helpful. I know that is not the most stable place for cold temps, but for some things the handiness is more important than the temperature variation. I wish that one shelf on the fridge door had a taller front panel. Initially wine bottles were tippy but when I moved them from the outside edge of the door to the hinge side, it solved that problem. The biggest complaint is the stupid ice tray for the automatic ice maker. I have taped a cardboard to the back side of it because I was constantly sending ice over the back edge and down into the floor of the freezer under the pull-out basket. It isn’t easy to retrieve those cubes.

On a frivolous note, I love LG’s logo–it makes me smile. After my less-than-4yr old Frigidaire’s motor burned out, I wanted a different brand. The LG brand is very common in Europe and I was familiar with it from traveling. It becoming increasingly common in the US. and I’m happy about that. I didn’t have many choices when I needed to quickly replace my refrigerator but I am sure glad that I had this choice.
