The T731 dryer is a brand-new dryer from ASKO. It is a perfect match for the W6441 EasyControl washer, with its matching control panel. Simply turn the dial to select a program. The T731 is available in white. It can be installed anywhere you have water, electricity, and outside venting - in a utility room, stacked in a closet, or under kitchen countertops.
The price : $1,079.00After getting the originals replaced by Asko after a two years of use (we paid and additional 400.00 to “upgrade to the best models) we had our latest problem with our dryer… it nearly burned our house down. Between the washer and the dryer we have …
After reading the two ‘favorable’ reviews in this section, I feel compelled to throw my hat into the ring. The two favorable reviews read as if they were written by an Asko salesman or factory rep. THEY ARE NONSENSE! Aside from having the most …
I purchased an ASKO T731 dryer and corresponding washer in April 2003. I purchased ASKO over the competition primarily because of the 3 year ‘bumper to bumper’ warranty touted by the salesperson. The dryer began making a loud screeching sound after …
We purchased this dryer with a matching washer for my son who is disabled. He generates a lot of laundry, and so we wanted a good bullet-proof washer and dryer for his room. We have found the washer to be poor, and the dryer no better. It takes a long time to dry clothes, and will not get a load of diaper dry, even on the longest cycle. I has also proved itself to be fragile. It overheats easily, and then both units need to be pulled out to reach the reset button on the back of the dryer.
I bought the highest end washer and dryer. Immediately, the washer mother board (computer) needed to be replaced. Since then, it’s been OK, but a pain to take care of.
The dryer sux big time. There’s something wrong w the way it’s designed (see Consumer Reports - wish I had!) and after 4 years and many $$$ in repairs, it just shuts off after 10 min. The thermostat (which is in the back, so you have to pull the machine away from the wall for every load!) keeps breaking.
It’s been a horrible experience, and I would keep the washer since it’s still working, but they have it so the washer only plugs into the dryer and the dryer plugs into the wall!!!!
This large capacity dryer had worked like a charm for over a year, it has a moisture sensor so you won’t overdry your clothes. We have had this unit stacked with the w6441 washer and it has been better than anything we would have expected.
I just read the review by jstephens62. Boy, what a grouch! He is doing something wrong. My dryer works great. As you may or may not know - it has the “butterfly” system of drying. This dryer offers about 6 levels of dryness, & all of mine are working beautifully.
I do happen to know that you can operate this dryer without an outside vent. But this is a poor second choice. That may be what jstephens62 is doing?
The amount of air used in the dryer is impressive. I replaced a GE dryer with the T731 & the amount of air coming out the vent is noticeably larger. And the dryer can be configured for left, right or rear venting.
Finally, this dryer does large loads in a small cabinet. A GOOD choice for moblie homes.
We purchased our Asko dryer (and washer) new in Oct. 2006. Read my review on the washer on epinions.
The dryer worked well, never missused or abused. Now, not even a year later, it is beginning to make this noisy screeching noise. The service tech is looking into it. Otherwise it is a very nice unit.
Please do not consider buying an Asko dryer. I own one, used for 1 year. Three repairs to pull large amounts of lint from the blower assembly. The repair techs at Hi Tech appliance in Broomfield CO say it is a design flaw. They do not carry ASKO products but certainly repair them, as according to them it is the most repaired appliance at their shop. Corp office will not support unit. If you want to toss 1K into toilet, buy one.
