Bought this fridge at home depot before Christmas 2005, the day before Christmas, it stop working. You ever try to get service for any appliance before a major holiday - many phone calls with long waits & at least 1 & 1/2 days staying home from work (for repairmen to come ) only to tell us that they don’t carry the parts for this unit (it is too new) Only to find out that the item that failed was made back in 1998 - per mfg code! Maytag does have the part in stock so they Fed-ex it overnight , however it will be over a week before it will get fixed by a factory repairman! Maytag & Home Depot refuses to replace the fridge & will not get anything done faster. The local Home Depot & their corp office did nothing but give me the run around - last item being purchased there! Though we liked the fridge before all this happened, my wife and our three teenagers now wish we would have gotten a different brand maybe Kenmore. Too much food lost & so much grief!

PS: It is now Feb 14 - guess what is not working again!
