I love my full size Bissell steamer for once a year carpet cleaning. However, it was a pain to get out and clean small messes. (Our cat throws up on a regular basis.) I always ended up having to throw away unused solution and clean the entire contraption out just for a little carpet spot.

In a full size steamer, you have to throw out any unused solution. You can’t put it back in the bottle because it is mixed with water. With the SpotBot, you can store the device with the unused solution in it. Then, you are ready to go the next time you have a mess. This makes it very easy to use.

The dirty water tank is also really easy to clean. You simply empty it into the sink, rinse it out, and you are ready to put it back into the SpotBot.

You put the machine over the sopt and push a button. The SpotBot cycles itself through the cleaning and rinsing cycles. You can see the brushes working, which is kind of neat. Once it is finished, which is either 3 or 8 minutes, depending on which cycle you use, the machine beeps and you know it is done.

So, I got the SpotBot to clean up carpet messes. This is the best $129 I have ever spent! Not only did it clean up fresh messes, it cleaned old stains, too. We have light colored carpet and everything shows.

I highly recommend this to anyone that needs something for really good spot cleaning.
