Our landlord is super lazy, and hasn’t emptied our coin-op laundry coinbox in months. We have tried calling and calling, leaving a thousand messages, but he is almost impossible to get a hold of. It has become just as impossible to do laundry because the machines are simply too full.
I would be happy if someone can give me methods of doing laundry on these machines without putting coins in. Clearly, the landlord has no interest in taking his money. And if I have a choice between breaking the law, and wearing bacteria-infested underwear, I’d rather choose the latter.That stinks!
If you’ve not been able to contact him in several months, how have you paid your rent? Although it seems a small offense, you could actually go to jail if caught. Would it really be worth it?
Keep contacting the landlord (via registered mail, preferably), go to the laundromat, and/or handwash your essentials.
