I have purchased this wonderful appliance several years ago with the unique feature of the freezer on the bottom. What a joy this fridge is! I know that sounds a little hokey, but the simple idea of having the freezer on the bottom is so convenient, and allows for more room up top for all the more accessed foods.

The fridge maintains a precise temperature and the self defrosting freezer is always frost free and performs equally well. I also have an automatic ice maker that is ever so handy, and I installed it myself with the optional ice maker kit, it was really quite simple. The shelves in the fridge are a beautiful tempered glass and one will roll right to allow easy access to things. The side door shelves are all fully adjustable as well.

It is a great fridge and like most kitchen aid appliances, have a simple understated style that is never dated. That helps…….because there appliances, (and I have several) last forever!!! As a footnote I just noticed that the models shown in the picture is a faux panelled one, I do not like that look, mine is a simple white, and although some may like the faux wood look, I think that classics are timeless and best.
