This model refrigerator was bought new and delivered to us on 9-25-07; from the start, the fresh food compartment light did not come on and was unusually noisy. The store exchanged it for another one of the same model and when the first new refrigerator was pulled out, it left a pool of oil on the floor. When the second new refrigerator was pushed into place, there was a terrible screeching/scraping sound and it began to make the same noise the first one had and so it was then exchanged for a third refrigerator of the same model. When the third refrigerator was plugged in there was an unusual noise from the freezer compartment which sounded like there might be a problem with a fan of some type. We rejected that one the day it was delivered and now we are still waiting for another refrigerator to be delivered. All in all, we have been very disappointed with this Frigidaire product and will probably never buy another Frigidaire appliance again. (Note that we bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher at the same time as the refrigerator and it leaked water from a defective pump; we are now on our third replacement dishwasher so time will tell whether or not these appliances will last even a year or two.)
