We’ve had the SHE45 for 2 months now with really no complaints. We did fairly extensive research with on line input such as this site, other sites and talked to 3 dealers in our city and finally landed on this model - a nice compromise between the more expensive 800 series and the less expensive 300 series. It has more than enough features for our families use, with the delayed start, wash cycles, etc. Our dishes are noticeably cleaner than our older Kenmore model that this replaced. We had our dealer install it, it was the first one they ever installed as they just started carrying Bosch products and they said it was a very straight forward install. It is very, very quiet compared to our old machine - you can sit right beside it and carry on a low key conversation without interruption. The only area that we have had to get used to is the cutlery tray - our old model had it on the door with two very large slots - the Bosch is typical of most basket type trays now but is very versatile in that you can break it apart and then locate pieces all around. The small slots make for more precise planning on where you are going to put that large ended fork but overall just a small routine to get used to. The upper tray allows for a good array of options in putting larger glasses, bowls etc. Again, it can hold alot of dishes if you do a bit of planning in putting the puzzle pieces together - again a couple of weeks of experimenting and we are in the routine on how to maximize this space. Have read a number of reviews that complained about the lack of solid waste grinder and hence some problems associated with a clogged filter, so far after 2 months we’ve found nothing in the filter, we just make sure there are no “chunks” but rarely pre-wash. Only other small issue is it does take about 110 minutes for a full cycle - but so far has not impeded our usage. So overall, like any new product, a few nuances to get used but so far we love it.
