I despise this dishwasher and wish I could scream every time I have to pre-wash the dishes. There is no disposer (just a stupid screen that clogs up with food/grease). I was glad to hear it only lasts 6 years (at $900) so I can buy an American made (made for US drains, large, not European drains, small)You MUST use JetDry or dishes are completely wet, even with a very LONG dry cycle. Even so, a lot of stuff is still wet.

My cheapo Fridgidare air in my vacation home is 10 times better.

I will never consider buying another Bosch product again or will shop at the store I purchased this in as I specifically asked for a unit that had a grinder/disposer.

Many people I have spoken to laugh when I tell them about my hatred for this dishwasher as they have had the same experience.

Oh, and yeah, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and can’t ever get anybody out to fix this horrid thing. It was a problem to install as well. I wish they still sold the old type dishwashers where you didn’t have to pre-wash.
